Our story

Praia das Conchas is the continuation of a family story: two houses passed down from one generation to the next. Both houses have always been cared for with genuine warmth, and every guest welcomed with real attention. We are proud to continue that tradition of hospitality.

For more than 15 years we have welcomed guests from every corner of the world, in apartments and in villas. That experience has brought us here.

Today we focus on Villa Simão and Villa Namibe, in Quinta da Balaia, Albufeira: two truly special houses, each independent and with its own private pool. Because there are only two, we know every corner of each house and have time for every guest, before and during their stay.

Your host

Ana is your host at Praia das Conchas. She grew up in the Algarve and spent many years living and working abroad. It gave her a particular way of looking after guests: she knows and loves the Algarve, and she remembers what it is like to arrive somewhere unfamiliar. Having someone with local knowledge to turn to makes all the difference.

So when you stay with us, you can expect a host who listens before she answers, and who takes the time to understand what you are hoping for from your holiday and what you will need while you are here.

Our way of hosting

We care for every guest and every house with the same warmth and attention to detail. We take the time to listen, and we always answer clearly and honestly, before and after you book, so that you know exactly what to expect.

When you book direct, you deal with one person from your first message to the day you leave. Ask us anything: which house suits your group best, how arrival works, what to see nearby or how a longer stay works. We will be glad to help.
