Discover our story and the charm of holiday homes in Quinta da Balaia Albufeira. The unique character of this place between pine forest and sea won us over — peaceful yet close to everything. Since the 1970s, this Algarve hideaway has been a well-kept secret for those seeking authentic rest.
That’s how our connection to Quinta da Balaia began. We started with one house, which we carefully renovated with dedication and respect for its original character and spirit. Little by little, we expanded the project and brought new homes to life — always with the same care and attention to detail. Each house has its own personality, but they all share the same spirit: to make guests feel truly welcome.
It is this commitment that we maintain today - to continue improving, to preserve the charm of the space and to create special memories for those who visit us.

Proximity
Located in Quinta da Balaia, a peaceful residential area with wide streets, tall trees, and plenty of greenery, our houses offer a naturally relaxed setting. It’s the kind of place where you can go for a walk, a light run, or a bike ride, or simply enjoy the outdoors at your own pace. You can walk to the beach, the supermarket, or a local café — no car needed. There’s space, shade, and quiet — perfect for those seeking rest without feeling isolated.
At the same time, you’re in a central and well-connected location, making it easy to explore the Algarve from end to end — and even reach Lisbon, with direct access to the motorway. Just a few minutes away by car, you’ll find some of the region’s most beautiful beaches, like Santa Eulália, Falésia, Galé, and Salgados. Aldi supermarket is 3 minutes away by car (or a 10-minute walk), and you’ll also find cafés, shops, and restaurants in Santa Eulália and Olhos d’Água.
